About Nora

My Mission Statement:

To further advance the knowledge of successful trading techniques and money management skills so anyone who so desires can become financially secure.  Additionally, to teach the power of compounding and how to devise a plan for saving so that a portion of those savings can be traded and another portion can be given forward.

My Background:

I have been trading since before I was born as I come from a long line of traders.  The line started in Germany with my great grandfather to his son, my grandfather, to his daughter, my mom to her daughter, me, and now on to my children.  I was taught how to calculate interest on a per diem basis before I knew how to tie my shoe.  Trading is in my blood.  I breathe it and live it every day and have become successful enough to have retired at the age of 39.

I knew I wanted to go to Georgetown at the age of 13 and that I wanted to attend University in Germany to study international business, study languages, and come back to the street to become a foreign currency trader.  When I graduated from GU there were no foreign currency seats open at Merrill Lynch.  Merrill was the #1 house on the street at the time so that is where I took my first job.  I went on to trade bonds.  I was hired by a large bank to trade their retail and wholesale book.  I then decided to open my own bank and trade for myself.  I was the only female-owned firm with a NY State Banking License.  My trading ability allowed me to offer the most competitive rates on the street so I quickly grew my business.  I then branched out into several other states and acquired various firms along the way.

My children were now 10 and 11 years old and I knew I wanted to be home for them.  I sold my firm and retired.  For the next 10 years, we traveled the world, I cheered them on in sports, sailed the eastern coast of the U.S. and became a long term investor.  After my kids were settled in college, ETFs started hitting the marketplace.  I wanted to learn all about them and learn how to trade them so I paid for a hedge fund manager to teach me his system over the course of the next five years.  His system was a long term system and I wanted a shorter-term swing trade system and day trade system so I created my own.  It is this system that I still use to trade today with a very high success rate of 97% combined with large % gains.

I was raised to work hard, play harder, and give back.  I have been teaching traders my trade setups, points of entry, the psychology of trading, and anything they need for them to become successful in trading their own personality.
